Return & Refund Policy

Terms of Returns

  • We offer a 3-day return policy. Returns are not accepted after 3 days from the date you received the product.
  • To be eligible for a return:
    • The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
    • The item must be in its original packaging. If not, the customer will bear the associated costs.
  • Return shipping charges:
    • Rs. 90 for orders below Rs. 2000.
    • Rs. 180 for orders above Rs. 2000.
  • For exchanges:
    • If you want to exchange your product for another item or a different variant/size, you must pay shipping charges of Rs. 135.
  • Exemptions:
    • Customized or personalized products cannot be returned as they are made specifically for you.
    • Damaged products are eligible for exchange only.

Terms of Refund

  • Damaged or missing products:
    • Refunds are not provided for damaged or missing products. However, exchanges may be arranged (if applicable).
    • You must report damaged/missing items within 48 hours of receipt, attaching photos to your return request. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.
  • Refund process:
    • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
    • Once the return is received (5-7 business days) and inspected (2-3 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection.
    • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.
    • For COD orders, we will contact you to collect your refund details. The entire process may take 10-12 business days.
  • Evidence for claims:
    • A 360-degree unpacking video is required for claims.
    • Claims may be rejected if there is insufficient evidence or visible tampering with the parcel.
    • The brand reserves the right to make the final decision.

Terms of Exchange

  • If you receive an incorrect item, submit an exchange request within 48 hours of receiving your order, including a picture of the item and the packing slip.
  • The time required to deliver the exchanged product may vary depending on your location.

How to Register a Return/Exchange Request (If applicable)

  • Contact us via:

    • Provide your order details and request a return/exchange.
  • Pickup process:
    • The product will be picked up within 48 working hours.
    • If a pickup service is unavailable at your pin code, you must send the product to us directly. We will provide the return address.
  • Return packaging:
    • Ensure the returned item is securely packed to prevent loss or damage during transit.

Important Notes

  • COD orders: Refunds will be processed via your UPI ID.
  • Prepaid orders: Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
  • Allow 12-15 business days for the return process to be completed.
  • For exchanges: After pickup, inform us at +91 8287059720 (Mon-Sat, 11 AM to 7 PM) or support@handmadejoy.in, and we will dispatch the replacement on the same day.
  • Do not accept deliveries with a broken seal or unsealed box. Such orders will not be accepted for return.
